Equipment Grant for IFAKs and Tourniquets Application

Purpose of the Grant: To provide Texas law enforcement agencies IFAK (Individual First Aid Kits) or Tourniquets for officers, enhancing officer safety and lifesaving response capabilities.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Fisher Investments Foundation, 10 grants of $1,000 each are available to provide Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs) and/or tourniquets to enhance officer safety and lifesaving response capabilities. Eligible Texas law enforcement agencies must demonstrate a current need for tourniquets, complete the online application form by the deadline, and agree to provide a photo of officers with the awarded equipment. Applications are reviewed by a three-member committee, with scores averaged across reviewers. Tie-breaker priority may be given to agencies with fewer officers, rural agencies, or those without existing tourniquets. Application deadline: Friday, February 20, 2026.
